saturday addendum: 3:16 p.m.

so cleaning the house did not excite you.

here's what i did AFTER cleaning.

a quick prayer. ALWAYS a prayer:

thank you, higher power of land, sea, and sky.

thank you for this precious and glorious salmon.

thank you for giving michael the "want"

to go out and net the salmons for me.

acta non verba: this action speaks louder

oh, look: it's 3 p.m.

i've been *at it* since 10 a.m.

and, by *at it* i mean:

cleaning. laundry. bathrooms.

3-story house.

salmon bones and trimmings go in the pot for:

pinto.

ziggy.

angelo.

they get special supper, too, tonight....

after pulling bones:

cut into pieces.

brown sugar.

liberal sprinkling.

it will absorb into the meat of the salmon.

now it goes into the smoker out on the deck.

oh, look!

it's the maid!

ain't she good-lookin' !?!?!

[and, look: she wears claremont kalifornia jewels while working.]

all that sweatin' and cleanin'

and fixin' salmon

and she's

STILL

smiling.
