renewal.

a wee stone arrived yesterday.
had been searching for quite a while
for
something
to remind me of this:
** the grassy water of rabbit slough **

fishing on rabbit slough
is
heaven on earth.
the man of my dreams
takes me fishing
every summer.
with him:
i am safe.
****

have you ever felt like this:
somewhere along the line.
somewhere in life.
i got messed up.
life was scary
and
horrid
and
most of all
unsafe.

if you had the perfect upraising,
then kudos to your parents.

i am
finally
*finally*
discovering
that it's OK to say:
up 'til now
life was damned weird
and
the info was jumbled.
yesterday
was a perfect day.
received a sweet valentine from a sweet girlfriend.
spent the day
with my favourite beings.
tea and pie with my sweetie.

it's all going to be alright from here....

the beauty I think, is that every day we can begin a new story about who we are....and the beautiful part is that now, you feel safe....

there are many who raise children without the realization that they have things to heal, so as not to pass on the hurt...

kudos to you, sweet Marie, for breaking the chain....
