cold and windy plum jam day.

on a cold clear blustery day
we headed to
NC machinery
to
check out the bulldozer
mister jones
had picked out for himself.



figuring out the controls....
["yes, we'll take it."]

....and it is delivered to our yard.

the sun is shining
but
the blustery wind
blows the icicles and the wind chimes

comfort food:
kinnikinnick gluten-free muffin.
plume gables plum jam.

went out and threw a few balls at the hoop.
now i'm inside for the duration of the afternoon....
enjoying my day off.

mister jones is planning to cut a road to the upper terrace of our property....clear some land up there....maybe build a small out-post building....maybe build a guest cabin.

Aaaah, that's what he SAYS he's going to do, but now that he has this "toy," the sky (or the mountain, in this case) is the limit...I predict more projects...and then friends calling for projects...and then friends of friends...and he'll be one busy and happy guy on his bulldozer!!! :-)

In the meantime, enjoy your jam, and your sky!!
