here's what i'm wondering....

********
how did jesus do it, anyway?
how did he tolerate all the pettiness?
did he ever feel like telling everyone around him:
grow up.
get a life.

did he pray for help?
did he ever once feel like hollering out:
i just need help right now.

how did the buddha do it?
what about mother teresa?
were there ever times when they felt
crazy like a wolf?
like chewing off their own legs
out of frustration?

were there times, when, if they were alcoholics,
they would drink themselves silly
because of all the craziness around them?

were there times, when, if faced with a bowl of M & Ms,
they'd eat the whole dang thing
because it would numb the pain?

i don't know.
you tell me.

i feel like saying:
stop it.
now.
just stop it.
and then let's all join in on a few rounds of
"row row row your boat"....

i just need help right now....

i think they did think those thoughts and say those things...I think that is why most of them ran off to a distant place and hid, prayed for forty days... merry christmas and happy birthday to come? xx

just when IS this turning of another year???

and, i like Mona's answer far better than my earlier one! ;)

my hands are here for carrying help, too . . .
