a two-river day.

********
"ridin' the river in this boat.
ridin' the river...."

 up the knik river.

we no sooner arrive home to unload:
boat.
buckets.
rocks.

mister pencilfox says:
it's such a nice evening....

let's go down to the matanuska.

i knew it was the right thing to do:
as soon as i exit'd the truck....
there lay
two
heart rocks.

a day like today gives me reason to fall in love
all over again:
mister pencilfox.
alaska.
pinto and zig.
rocks.
water.

it's even easier to hold myself in high regard
after a full day like this day....

totally! days like this are precious and help us to believe in a world of possiblity!
i'm so smitten with your navigation experts. no irreverence intended, but those photos made me laugh and think about the bumper stickers that say "dog is my copilot". I'm glad you had such a lovely day with your little family. did angelo get a treat?
oh, and i have yet to find a heart shaped rock. must be a river thing.

the dogs on the boats have the best expressions. They just look so joyful!

You certainly do live in "god's country" - you're a lucky woman.

funny thing: i changed jewelry between trips.

yes: i think the pooches are sweet in their vests. ziggy is like a pig in a blanket in his. but don't tell him.
