frosty and white.

so, this is how march-almost-april rolls around here. 

not to say that i am surprised.

two weeks ago, when the temperatures were up in the 40s

and 

everyone was smiling and calling in spring, 

i knew otherwise. 

my alaskan savvy told me

now wait a minute. we haven't had our spring dump of snow, yet....

so, this past weekend, two feet of heavenly fluffy frosty white snow

fell upon this hinterland. 

i'm not one bit surprised. 

and for some strange reason, my snowshoe heart is quite happy....
