kismet. destiny. fate. : october blog-o-sphere think tank.

********

destiny.
fate.
kismet.

yes:
this is how i believe.

to believe otherwise would go against how i believe.

i'm not a what-if-er.
i tend to not speculate or give much thought to anything other than
what is right in front of me, right now, this very moment.
and that is why i believe in fate.
a predetermined or unalterable course of events that is bound to happen
no matter what,
no matter how much i hope and pray otherwise.

i've often been accused of being a fatalist.
what is, is.
all is as it is meant to be.
that's what i believe.

of course,
i ponder sometimes whether or not to act on what has presented itself to me
in the moment at hand.

but this i know:
i pay close attention to how i feel,
because if i cling to something that may not be right for me,
then i might be dragged.
and just not too long ago, i learned that lesson:
let go or be dragged.
if i cling too hard, then i might be closing the door to fate, to destiny, to kismet.
to something good that is intended to happen in my life.
to something that is supposed to be instead of what i'm trying to make happen.

looking back, i can say that
at the time
i read certain happenstances as signs, as fate....and maybe they were, maybe they were not.
maybe there were lessons i had to learn and live through,
kismet lessons.
and now, on the other side of it all, i see where fate and my destiny have brought me.
this is where i have landed.
this is the lesson i am learning and living through.
right now.

before i go, let me say this, because i always end my posts with these words:
life is good.

It is what it is.
Live and let live.
Let it all hang out, baby!!!
I've been saying this all my life: "whatever happens is meant to be" and "things happen for a reason."
Lately I'm resounding to letting go. To accept what the day will bring, without trying to change it so much. Without trying too hard to make it what I think it should be. Ya know?
Today your package should arrive. (Whatever...haha)
Kisses an hugs.
