coyote hill.

********

the day started clear and cold.
when the temp rose to 10F
[ -12.2C for my celsius-speaking friends ]
i announced i was going snowshoe'ing up the coyote hill.

there really isn't much to say.
my heart is full.
my soul is at peace.

a good tromping up a hill and through the woods
does that for a girl.

Looks beautiful, but cold (well, duh, with all that snow it had to be cold). It was in the high 70's here today.
I love it- one day... one day I need to do this with you.

i can well imagine how happy that made you today!!
so glad you and your little friends could enjoy a romp in the snow together.

does mr. pencilfox blaze the trail for ziggy so he doesn't have to do it for himself? just imagine shoeing through chest-deep snow!!

mister pencilfox just acquired an ancient snowmachine so that he can blaze trails, yes. used to be, zig would just wait for me to "punch" the trail with my snowshoes….

Still waiting for snow here. A tad impatiently, I might add. My snowshoes are whispering at me.
What's the pink bit on Pinto's foot? She okay?
pencilfox said…
yes, my snowshoes were SCREAMING at me!

pinto's dewclaw was torn from her running like the crazy dog she is, running fast through brush and undergrowth. she'll be sporting pink coban dressing for a while….
