you must know, surely you do….

how very intertwined our lives have been: 

your paintings on my walls. 

your leather and jewels as my adornment. 
books we have mailed to each other. 
open and honest letters. 
all the oh-so-sweet reminders of our friendship. 

you have been such a good friend. 
you will always be my good friend. 

i cannot look around the pencilfox house without a glimpse of you. 

and so, i offer up these prayers….

i pray for your healing.

i pray that your soul be filled with a peace that surpasses all understanding.

i pray for that sweet little family of yours, human and animal….
because right now, they are your strength on this sphere.

a stay in the bookshed,
