where i am, today.

********

i'm in for some big changes.
as all change begins, i felt the conscious need way down deep in my soul.
something different needs to happen.

this morning, i proceeded to set out on a new path.
correspondence was taken care of
and i sipped-down a couple cups of tea with the usual handful of supplements.
pinto and i worked outdoors a while.
and then,
i came inside to cook up a small slab of halibut
while cleaning off my workspace.
however, as you can see,
the true artist i am way down deep in my soul cannot part with the sixteen or so
jars and bowls
of rocks and shells and prayer flags and other assorted relics.

****

life is good.

No need to clear your space of what your artist heart holds dear. Those things are inspiration, are they not?
Pens! Don't you love those pens! I use those same ones. (Duh)
Ya got your tablet, some new washi, orchids and sweet tea. Is that stationary or folding note cards?? You must have access to a really great store. It's always so, so beautiful.
I'm happy you are feeling so strong and finding joy in the changes that are happening up thar in th' north country.

indulge your true artist self and leave the things you love right where they are! have you read "a perfectly kept house is the sign of a misspent life"? i love not only the text but the photographs. my daughter is going to borrow it today. i keep reading such volumes, and each one edges me one step closer to living into my authentic self...
