From beginning to end.

I've opened a sock factory.
Not really.
Kinda sorta.
But really.

My road dog and I are spending most of our time at home,
always have,
probably always will.
I'm happiest at home,
and
depression due to isolation ain't a thing that will ever affect me.

Coyote Hill is a challenge these days.
136" of snowfall has compressed and drifted
and covered-over many landmarks.
A mile of punching through snow works my muscles and bones
and
feeds my soul.
Being out in the cold and sunshine makes me healthier.

It ain't difficult to find an activity to do in the house,
be it reading,
or knitting,
or
sewing sock after sock after sock.

It's a good life.

It's a good life, ain't it after all?

I've come down with the blues this winter and I can't quite shake 'em. I think I need to seek out my own coyote hill, climb up it, and sit for a while.

Dearest Clare,
Sometimes there's just *something* our souls need to work through.
I find it best [for myself] to simply acknowledge this, remove myself from the equation, cease thinking, busy my hands [and feet], and let The Heavelies just work it all out on my behalf.

Dearest Julie, they melted my heart, too.
