Being true to oneself.

The recent nights are frosty and starry.
The mornings which follow are skyblue and chilling as we walk Coyote Hill,
up
out
into
the forest.

Being who I am —
highly sensitive and often deep in thought —
my reflections turn lately to being true to myself and who I am,
the me I was created to be by my higher power.
Too often I slip into
what do others want me to do?
The wheels turn and the squirrel runs endless circles in its cage.
What should I do? What do they want me to do? How do I make them happy??

Then I remember to take a deep breath, call the pack to me, and we slip out the door and into the open spaces where I let it all go.
To thine own self be true.

Yes, indeed. You are you and whatever you choose to do, (or not do), is alright by me. Alright by you, too?

Zig in the sun....melts my heart. Yes, indeed.

Tonight I am sitting in the liminal space. A few lessons smacked me upside the head today, quaking my spirit and etching affirmations on my heart. Tomorrow I will walk Coyote Hill on new legs, trying on new feelings. And you know that Ziggy’s nap in the sun clenched the deal for me. 💗
