We chatted about life and health and gratitude and finding some joy every day.
You see, it's like this: it only robs me of whatever little peace I have if I wait around for amends to be offered to me by those who I believe have wronged me, and that is living unconsciously. Soul, consciousness, and the Holy Spirit can be thought of as the same thing, and it is always larger than me, shared, and even eternal. (Credit to Fr Richard Rohr for this God-talk stuff.)
So, yeah, it's important for me to look to the positive, to the joy, in order to live my life as it was (and is) ordained to be.
