Under-and-in the weather.

Today I am getting around to clearing my studio table so that business can be conducted without having to shuffle the pile of extraneous papers from here to there and back again. Raise your hand if you know what I mean.

This wintry season is one of many and various insults to my body, my spirit, my brain. I'm gettin' by the best I can. Right now this clay vessel of mine is fighting off a virus. I am swallowing hourly doses of an anti-viral, and I am drinking much water and tea. Ain't got much of an appetite except for fresh citrus from California, a true gift if I do say so myself.

I wish you could experience this Winter with me. There's been 119 inches of snow to date. We have had warm sunny days that tease us about *maybe* we'll see Spring someday. Then Old Man Winter carries in some harsh-ass temperatures. Right now it ain't so bad except for gusty blustery winds. And, yeah, this scraggly Coyote of a girl is still going outdoors on snowshoes.

Yesterday's magic: 10F/-12.2C -> 20F/-6.6C.

It's a good life.
