up the road: high hedges.
ok. this is how i felt around 1 p.m.
all fuzzy and faded out.
so i told myself:
enough of this.
realized
i had not eaten
except for
one cookie
with tea
early early
this morning.
so i grab a quick slice of cheese on a grainy cracker.
ok, little man.
off the couch
and
outside.
where's my favourite hat and scarf?
oh, yeah:
still in blue's basket.
ahhhh.
much better.
out the door.
oh, look:
it's mister jones.
smile, michael!
[no....not at ziggy....smile at ME.]
hi, honey.
out the door
and
up the road:
cutting wood for walking sticks.
[hint, hint: girlfriends: walking sticks.]
look at this:
lots of "heart"
as they say
in the woodcarving world.
"beneath heaven's vault
remember always
walking through halls of cloud
down aisles of sunlight
or
through high hedges of the green rain."
walking the road
reminds me
of the high hedges of varied trees.
and, so.
all's well that ends well.
see you later.
alligator.
after a while.
crocodile.
