soul health. and. me.

restless sleep lends itself to craziness.
and. so.
today i write purely to empty myself out.

i am writing to rid my brain of the crazies.
i write because. well. maybe some of *you*
have felt this way
and you can say
"yes....yes....i have felt that way."

so.

today i am on a mission.

being raised a *catholic*
i still can't shake some of the rituals.

and. so.
feeling a heavy heart betrayal
i grab the bottle of *holy water*
that i received at the *mass of repose*
held for my mother
when she died in july.

the water therein doesn't mean as much to me
as the holy water in eska creek.

and. so.
maybe it's a bit sacrilegious
to empty out catholic holy water.
but.
it means nothing to me.
nothing like this blessed water that flows from my mountains
and empties into eska creek
just up the road from where i live.

so.
the catholic holy water was added to eska creek water.
and.
now.
in my little bottle
label'd
*holy water*
is the holy water of eska creek.

down the hill.
homeward.

i am grateful
for the followers
of this humble little blog.
i am grateful
you allow me to *share*....
i give you my smile.

om shanti.
namaste.
see you later alligator.

I am utterly captivated by the walls of those Alaskan Birch or are they Aspen? Either way, I'm entranced, and I see why on a Tuesday the repose of biking and writing would be a welcoming thought {deed}... I think yes, we are spirit sisters... if just by the mere fact that we both have tried valiantly to brush off the overbearing-oversights of a Catholic upbringing, then definitely by our love of nature and life:)

btw: I've some oil that was blessed by a healer, Father McAlear, which I think is pretty cool... I'll tell you the story tomorrow in the morning, bright eyed and bushy tailed. Like you, I am a bit tired at 11:30 pm, and should hit the hay.
