ondine returns.

silver salmon: rabbit slough fishing.

slip back into the state of mind.
the state of heart.
the boat:
hunky dory, she is.
gliding through shallow waters
and
green grasses.
logs on the banks.
quiet.
so quiet.
birds.
muskrats.
my ondine heart
begs to be there again.
now.
slipping in.
slipping out.
fish slipping onward to home.
i feel the rocking.
even now.
rock me to sleep, rabbit slough.
my dreams are capturing you.

thank you, mona.
i wrote the "poem" while VERY sleepy: found myself rocking side to side while thinking of rabbit slough and being in the boat. i slept so soundly.

anytime: come on up. there's plenty of salmon in the freezer, "fresh" from just this past august.
