dear cyber galpals:
a few days ago
some gals in a pickup truck
stopped me.
they said:
bear.
they said:
we want to give you a ride home.
no....i'm not afraid.
but:
after reporting to mister jones
he purchased
bear spray
for my rides.

post script:
the aforementioned gals

had been slaughtering pigs in their yard.

awaken hungry.

a local girlfriend told me she carries this:

Good idea!! I'm always leary to go running by the river as there is always a bear or two down the road that way.

Happy biking!! :)

vita: i must admit to not giving it much thought. when i see the large animals [or "sign" of them] i pay more attention. of course, i hardly ever put myself in harm's way....
thank you for visiting today!

my gosh, nancy.
you won't get a stop-smile-photo from ME.
our alaskan bears are more of the serial killer type. not cute fuzzy teddy bears. [smile]

YOU are welcome to come up and shoot their photos. i'll have your back with the gun, eh?
