book club thursday.

 the selected book for the month of march: 

the forgotten garden. 

nancy remembered that zig should have his paw represented in the hand photo:

he allowed her to pick him him and hold him, have him be a part of the group. 

instead of our usual discussions wherein we solve all the world's problems, 

we opted for nancy to read to us once again. 

so fitting for this evening:

chicken sunday. 

zig politely lay'd next to nancy and listened, yet soon he was in a deep sleep, 

softly snoring through the reading. 

we were the only beings in the library.
the cavernous building was silent therein. 

it was a purely calm and holy time 

shared as friends 

as we enter this easter weekend.
