these evenings. these feelings.

********

i wake in the evening to fall out into the hinterland.
we are not wasteful here in the pencilfox family
and most everything holds a purpose:
end caps to peppers are a treat for mister trapper
and all other bits and pieces go to compost the garden ground.

flitting chickadees and tocking trilling woodpeckers
give me reason to look up.
[hobbits have a habit of looking down....we are close to the ground....]
the book shed calls me to wander inside and out.

back to the house for tea and supplements and journaling.
i write feelings and thoughts and work my way through truths and mistruths.

i'm feeling rather bolstered these days [these nights] by the love of many strong
and powerful women. i pray for in thanksgiving for their support
and ask blessings for them.
i am grateful for their heart and spirit
and i love their souls.

****

for awhile now i have been feeding my body in a different manner.
the energy flows through me
and i am rewarded with less pain, more mobility, more stability of mind and emotions.
this feels good.
this feels right.

last night at work i felt the slump:
giving of too much of myself, not feeling a return.
i almost reached out for something anything to gain instant energy.
instead, i tried something different:
a prayer, a sit-down, a spoon of peanut butter, a cup of tea,
a glance into the lives of other women, wanting to garner a bit of what makes them tick.
i found instant love and light.

and there you have it.
i think i'm different
but i'm finding i'm one of them.
one of you.

life is good.

love and light

Sometimes you get the feeling that we are all alike. That we are all connected. I got that feeling when I read your words today.

when i *don't* feel that way, i now know that it's something wrong with *me*....so i need to follow truth and ask for some help, either divine or human.
thanks for being here, emma....i've missed you!
