i would like to go here. [february blog-o-sphere think tank.]

********

most recently, my dream to
go-somewhere-see-something
would take me to the hoover dam.

even though i'm not a water girl
and i confess to fear of being out on large bodies of water
there's something so fascinatingly deadly-scary
and downright exhilarating
about the power of water in its full force.

but….
given that we are saving up for a "big trip"
and visiting *outside* constitutes "big trip"
our upcoming spring road trip will be to seward.
180 miles to the south of home-sweet-home.

i want to visit

and….

the little city of seward, itself….

there's nothing like being a tourist in your own home state.

what's this blog-o-sphere think tank?
my friend andes cruz formed a group of friends who blog once a month,
all writing about the same topic.
we don't always have the same viewpoint on the topic at hand,
and that's what makes this all so very interesting.

please join me in perusing my fellow bloggers' posts….

The Hoover Dam was a trip I went on with my parents, oh so long ago. It really was an eyeful!

I just love getting in the car and going somewhere . . . somewhere where there'll be sights, food and maybe a nice little hotel room to take you out of the usual scenery of your own house and neighborhood. I'm ready!

some of our most relaxing getaways are in-state-- we tend to spend time at a leisurely pace since we don't feel the need to "get it all done" like we sometimes do with bigger trips. and sea life?? oh, yeah!
