taking myself up the hill.

********

the weight of sorrow helps us to realize just what we had,
when we still had it,
which turns our hearts to gratefulness.

although i cannot take credit for these words, they are written deep in my heart.

today i feel immense gratitude for what i have had,
for what i have right now,
although, today,
my heart was blind-sided by the impermanence of life.

What is that saying? Something about Yesterday is history-tomorrow is a mystery-but today is a gift, that's why they call it the present.. :)
Grateful for you in this day.

Yes, impermanent....except memories.

I want the round table because we used to kick each other under that table, and it was where I learned to knead bread.
