finding rest. or, i used to be blue, now i'm green.

********

although it's only two weeks that i have been on enforced healing time,
it seems much longer.
i'm wrapping my head around
this is my time --
actually falling into a routine which begins with tea
and involves exercising twice a day.
i wear green, i drink green, i surround myself with green.
many times during any given day, i fall into silence, not speaking, trying to quiet
the crazy stream of feelings and wonderings which pass through my thoughts.
i have given myself over to journaling
instead of allowing the craziness to take over my life.
sometimes i wish to just lay and rest,
and that is what milo and i did quite recently.
i don't really know what the future holds
but then again, none of us have any guarantees in this life.

so much work, this healing.
but….it's good work.

I've always loved green, a wide variety of greens from the palest lichen to the deepest emerald or evergreen. green feels healing, nature's color choice for new growth and abundance. after a spell of silence grab that beautiful ukulele and sing to Milo-- you've certainly got the voice for it! and next time you're out and about find some bright red flowers-- red and green are complementary colors and the red is bound to bring some healing energy through the eyes and into the heart! xoxo

I like that second picture. I bet you look out that window a lot. See stuff. Like a moon. Through the Birch.
I see you're indulging in Jahna's cards. Love her.
Blue is good. Green is good, too!
Love to you, Bernard.

i'll certainly take that hug, but milo continues to refuse much physical contact, darn it….

That Milo, he's a handsome one. And yes, this is your time. Your time to heal, to journal, to follow your heart. Sounds to me like you're on the right path. xx
