We went out-and-up today, snowshoe'ing our usual one-mile loop: 

The Queen of Coyote Hill, 

her Understudy, 

and me. 

Seeing the fresh snow confirmed my awareness: 

the higher the elevation, the deeper the new snowfall. 

Berry is quite the snowdozer.

Pintō loves to roll in deep fresh snow. 

And, most of all, 

these two make my heart happy. 

They truly do.
