what every girl wants.

all my grumbling
over
having to use
"a man's rod and reel"
won me this:
a custom-built
silver salmon rod
with my favourite colours
of
thread-wrap.
shimano "cardiff" baitcaster reel.
personalized
with my name:
no boys allowed.

ready for rabbit slough fishing
next summer.

true love.
from my true love.

yes, kerin: top of the line. and "girl-sized" for reaching one end to the other. plus: the baitcaster hole is perfect size for my thumb.
come on up: i'll take ya' fishin'....

definitely summer activity, ro.
however, one must take what one gets when one gets it :)
a gift is just that.
