five things friday.

1. i have lived in alaska for 24 years 

and every day i am thankful for this.

2. fishing always seems so holy to me: 

i cry and thank my higher power when i hold a flopping-live fish.

3. i strongly dislike a man taking over my fishing: 

i.e., setting up my line, telling me how to fish, 

watching my every move.

4. i don't like open water but i'll fish either on rabbit slough in the dory 

or on the bank of any lake. 

5. i could eat fish every day of my life 

and never grow tired of it.
