blog-o-sphere think tank: outside the comfort zone.

********

how strange.
how fitting.
how perfect.

this month's blog-o-sphere think tank topic:
stepping outside my comfort zone.

for a few weeks now i have been standing on the edge of cliff,
uncomfortable with how i was moving through the world,
determining how to traverse from this side of the chasm to the other.
so i finally did it.

this, for me, was a stepping out of a sufficient periphery,
a place where i was perfectly complacent and at ease,
smug and unconcerned:
so often finding fault.
so often jumping into negativity.
a shift happened.
it was time to leave my old adequate self behind
and
step into a scary new state of mind.

so, yes:
i have stepped outside a comfort zone.
and i feel this is a good place for me to be....

and you are looking fabulous darling!!!
i welcome you to this place
i can promise discomfort and stretching
i can promise broken open moments
and heart exposed
i can promise truth beyond truth
illumination and love so deep it will make you weep
i can promise exfoliation followed by deep healing balm
and i can promise
you will stand where others have stood before
you will stand alone, yet surrounded
you will make this place, that much easy for those yet to come, to find their courage and their way

you shine bright like a diamond

love and light

hah-ha, cat....this i already know and this i already feel, the discomfort and stretching while finding truth to speak. and i *know* that MY discourse on stepping outside a comfort zone was probably not what was expected for the blog-o-sphere post, but it's where i am right now....
