spent a couple hours searching body memories for crochet technique.
i could knit blind-folded.
but this old-newness felt quite odd, in my head and my hands.

feeling the need to stretch muscles knotted-up from heretofore snowshoe trips,
i bid adieu to the house and took a quick walk up coyote hill.

i stood in my usual spot and recited mary oliver poetry.
a wind arose quite suddenly and carried my prayers onward....

Your boots, tights, and skirt combination could not be better chosen.

I too and attempting some body memory magic, knowing it's all still there, knowing I must be patient.

Also, I should memorize some Mary Oliver for hilltop recital. What a wonderful thing.

You are, without a doubt, the most fashion-forward snowshoer I know!

And I'm diving into some body memory myself.....attempting to restore some antique furniture.

How's the crocheting going?
