five things friday.
1. we love going through the carwash:
it is so much fun watching ziggy and pinto bark at the water
and the soap et al....
and the soap et al....
2. if you wonder why i'm not really in the photos of
"five things friday"
it's because:
i'm not comfortable with photos of myself.
i feel like all my "five things friday" cyberfriends
are much more beautiful than i.
i just don't photograph well.
3. mister pencilfox brought home 19 "red" salmon
from the kasilof river.
we processed the fish, side by side before going into town:
to the carwash.
to matanuska telephone association.
to friday fling in downtown palmer.
he gave me a gift he purchased
["i thought of you when i saw these...."]
when he and the guys stopped on their way to the kasilof.
4. you are probably tiring of my saying:
it was a difficult week at work.
it all feels like some sort of trial i must go through.
some sort of lesson i must learn.
i get to "friday"
and feel totally whipped.
totally drained.
totally empty.
5. i feel that i do not "do" people very well.
the truth of it is:
if i were to stay "inside"
and draw from the strength of my higher power
and just simply let others be who they are,
i'd fare it all much better.
