a prayer sent on the wind:
appreciation and gratitude for the work performed by all wildland firefighters .
a prayer to hold the hearts of the ones left behind.

a pause this day, in remembrance.

When I read this post yesterday I was not aware of the tragedy in AZ...so sad...adding my prayers to yours for all touched by this...

Oh, I'm saddened by the loss of these firefighters.
My gut turned to knots, as I watched the names of the men scroll on my TV set.
All I kept thinking about is our Kerry. And her firefighter husband.
Thank you, sweet marie, for this tribute, to those hearts who are in pain.
I hear a coyote howl of mourning...xo
