the days of late have been filled with too much sun, too much heat. 

please understand: 

i ain't complaining, because it's my basic premise that life is so very very good.

even with days of hot dry weather. 

but it's almost more than this snow-lovin' coyote girl can handle. 

given that: 

i was "nominated" for a sunshine award. 

with this blessing bestowed upon me-n-my-blog, 

i am to list ten things about myself, and then pass this honour to ten other folks. 

1. i am a highly introverted soul. 

2. perfumes and colognes make me downright ill....nauseated, in fact....

but i love slathering on essential oils, preferably cedarwood, fir, spruce. 

3. i'm an alaskan. i don't ever want to live anywhere else. 

4. i am quite spiritual. 

i do know that i have a winged heart, and my prayers are carried on the wind.

5. i stood on a stool, at the age of 4 or so, staring into a mirror, 

trying to figure out who i was

and why i was born into the family with whom i lived. 

6. i love boots. gnarly flat-sole'd vintage leather boots. 

i wear them year-round. 

with everything. 

7. i am quite sensitive. 

i've learned to not be offended anymore when people delight in telling me

"you are too sensitive." 

8. i am quite serious. but i love me a good hard belly-laugh. 

never with the fun poked at my fellow human beings. 

just a laugh at life itself. or myself. 

9. my animals own my heart. 

10. i could snowshoe every day of my life and never tire of it. 

never.
